Outside Perspectives

We shared a survey with Queens College students who anonymously shared their views on their classroom settings. Their responses are as follows:

Using the evidence above, all students should be accommodated for. Additionally, we interviewed students in person and asked for their feedback.

"It's become quite frustrating to find desks that accommodate my needs. I'm a bigger person and a lefty, and  truthfully, the best desks are the tables in the Science Building"- Chelsea Sid  


"If the classrooms had better desks- desks where I can see my friends and classmates across from me, I think, as immature as it sounds, will help me do better in class"- Joshua Greenwald


"Even in high school, I was able to find a good desk. Yes, it may have been wobbly, but it was definitely better than the desks at Queens College" - Alejandro Vasquez
